University Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help keep our community safe, clean, and welcoming for residents. You will handle work orders, grounds and common area upkeep, and maintain relationships with residents and staff.

The ideal candidate has experience in electrical/plumbing/HVAC and basic construction, a strong work ethic, and reliable teamwork. A valid driver's license and HVAC certification are preferred. Training and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and basic construction.
• General mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn.
• Ability to read/write simple correspondence; communicate with residents and staff.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements in various units.
• Professional demeanor from prior maintenance experience; strong customer service.

Responsabilités

• Provide excellent service to residents, guests, employees and contractors.
• Complete routine service requests within 24 hours under supervision.
• Keep community clean and well maintained at all times.
• Maintain maintenance shop according to policy.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor and community manager.
• Assist in other tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Spot-clean model and vacant units daily.

JOBPURPOSE:

Maintenance Technicians perform a variety of responsibilities, including work orders, grounds and common area clean up and maintenance, and maintaining good resident relations.

PRIMARYDUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and responsibilities will include those specifically assigned by the employee’s immediate supervisor.

• Providingexcellentservicetoresidents,guests,employeesandcontractors.
• Completingallroutineservicerequestswithin24hoursatthedirectionofMaintenanceSupervisor.
• Ensuringthecleanconditionofthecommunityatalltimes.
• Maintainingthemaintenanceshopaccordingtopolicy.
• ReportingmaintenanceissuestotheMaintenanceSupervisorandCommunityManagerforreview.
• AssistinginothertasksasdirectedbytheMaintenanceSupervisor.
• Spotcleaningthemodelandvacantunitsonadailybasis.

Qualifications:

• Workingknowledgeofelectric,plumbing,HVACandbasicconstruction.
• Ageneralmechanicalaptitudecombinedwithawillingnessanddesiretolearn.
