Job Title: Standby Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Standby Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team, supporting a positive resident experience. Live where you work for FREE! No commuting costs or traffic hassles!

This role requires living on-site in a company-provided apartment and being available for after-hours emergency calls on a rotating basis. The technician must complete work orders per company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the apartment community and support daily operations
• Evaluate and resolve work orders, ensuring quality standards
• Perform plumbing tasks like pipe fitting, sink and faucet installations, and repairs
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems, hot water heaters, and boilers
• Diagnose and repair appliances
• Complete carpentry tasks such as door and drywall replacement
• Handle electrical repairs including switches, outlets, and lighting
• Repair ceramic tiles and tubs
• Monitor inventory of parts
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience in multi-family property maintenance preferred
• Knowledge of safety guidelines, OSHA regulations
• EPA certification required (training provided if needed)
• HVAC experience preferred
• CPO certification and pool maintenance skills preferred
• Ability to shovel snow and spread salt during winter
• Professional appearance and communication skills
• Basic computer skills and reliable transportation
