Job summary

Peak Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Utah to bring units to market-ready condition under the Service Manager’s direction. The role may require weekends and after-hours emergencies to meet community needs.

Responsibilities include completing make ready tasks, handling work orders, and assisting with building and common area maintenance. The position offers PTO, holidays, health plans, 401(k) matching, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in property management.
• EPA and CPO certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate in English.

Overview

Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for bringing units up to market ready condition in accordance with Peak Living standards. Typical range of hours is based on the community needs and may require weekends and after hour emergency services.

Responsibilities

• Complete make ready maintenance.
• Complete assigned work orders and ensure compliance to Peak Living standards.
• Assist with building and common area maintenance.
• Assist with preventative maintenance program and maintain property equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in general maintenance in property management environment.
• EPA and CPO certification preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of general maintenance (i.e., electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, etc.)
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
