Job summary

ZRS Management in Dallas, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide skilled repair and preventive maintenance for our properties. You will collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to service plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances and common areas, and to support apartment turnovers with timely, high-quality work.

Responsibilities include completing turnover tasks within 3–5 business days, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and communicating effectively with residents.

Qualifications

• Maintain confidentiality in resident interactions.
• Maintenance experience across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Clear communication with residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent technical maintenance repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances).
• Complete apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days with turnover checklist. Includes blinds, filters, bulbs, caulking, etc.
• Maintain common areas (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash, windows).
• Monitor exterior for roof, siding, shutters, and related issues.
• Support preventive maintenance program for assigned area.
• Ensure safe condition of equipment and structures; manage inventory of tools/equipment.
• Keep work area clean and orderly; observe safety rules.
