Job summary

Maker's Pride, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our McComb, OH facility. You will repair and maintain mechanical equipment used in production and packaging, inspect equipment, and follow health and safety procedures to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment across shifts. A 2-year trade degree or 4 years of plant maintenance experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Has completed or is working on a 2-year trades degree and/or 4 years of plant maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write and speak English; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate standard maintenance tools safely and effectively.
• Perform preventative maintenance from daily to semi-annual.
• Read mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with minimal supervision.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Follow safety rules and procedures and promote safe techniques.
• Detect, document, report and repair improper machine operation.
• Follow emergency procedures for power failures.
• Grow versatile maintenance skills across shifts.
• Understand and certify in the LOTO program.
• Daily pass-downs of issues and actions.
