Job summary

Wesley Living is seeking a compassionate Maintenance Technician to join our Memphis community. You will perform general and advanced maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, to keep residents safe and comfortable.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance planning, regulatory compliance, and responsive repairs with a focus on dignity and service for our senior residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in maintenance or related trades preferred.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Prep vacant apartments for new residents (unit turns).
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with local housing authority and HUD standards.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Interact with residents respectfully while performing repairs.
