Oakmont of Torrance, part of Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the physical plant, exterior and interior common areas, and individual resident units in our senior living community. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and delivering quality living spaces for residents.

The position requires basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, ability to assist with turnovers, and a commitment to a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in building maintenance or related fields.
• Experience with upkeep, repair, and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, and structural matters.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical plant, exterior, and interior common areas and resident units.
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks.
• Assist with apartment turnovers, painting, carpet cleaning, and pressure washing.
• Maintain grounds and safety for residents and staff.
