Job summary

Warehouse Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician at our Wilmington, IL location. The role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for joining the team and operates on the second shift with a base rate of $21.00/hr plus a $2.25/hr premium.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and documentation. The job requires mechanical aptitude, CDL preferred, forklift certification, and the ability to lift 55 lbs. On-site work with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Commercial Driver's License preferred.
• Forklift certified or able to obtain certification.
• Must be able to lift 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Implements a preventive and routine maintenance program on all equipment.
• Prepares and maintains all logs, charts and other required documents for each piece of equipment.
• Operates all material handling equipment required.
• Repairs equipment as required.
• Perform building and equipment audits.
• Coordinate and track preventative maintenance.
• Initiate and schedule repairs.
• Perform repairs on equipment.
• Monitor and maintain battery maintenance.
• Monitor and maintain the lighting, HVAC, doors, dock plates, etc.
• Will be the primary liaison with the equipment warranty provider.
• Develop and implement continuous improvements.
• Negotiate bids.
• Maintain and track supplies.
• Any other duties assigned by the Site Manager.
