Job summary

Kerry is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift at our Sturtevant, WI facility. This role maintains and repairs production equipment to maximize uptime and safety. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered along with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Formal certifications, an AAS degree, or equivalent education in a relevant field preferred.
• Advanced mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery.
• Experience with load cells, weight displays, metal detectors, pneumatic cylinders, variable frequency drive wiring and parameter entry, bag sealer equipment such as Fischbein PBC 6000, and conveyors.
• Proper bearing installation techniques.
• Proper alignment techniques, including sprocket/sheave alignments and coupling alignments.
• Use of measuring tools, including tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
• Ability to read mechanical schematics.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Proper use of electrical meters.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Troubleshooting 480V/110V systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

• Follow LO/TO procedures when performing work on equipment.
• Maintain safe work practices and avoid shortcuts.
• Ensure smooth operation of machinery and equipment through maintenance and repairs.
• Provide regular, continuous service and support to internal customers.
• Perform preventative maintenance procedures.
• Perform predictive maintenance procedures and troubleshoot equipment.
• Troubleshooting 480V systems and electrical issues.
• Collaborate with team members to maximize efficiency.
• Utilize CMMS to organize and manage work orders.
