Job summary

Hireology is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to support daily operations and keep our facility safe for residents and staff. You will perform routine maintenance, assist with minor repairs, and help maintain the physical plant, grounds, and equipment in good working order.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with HVAC, boilers, water systems, and emergency generators; strong teamwork, clear communication, and a safety-focused approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, washers, dryers and emergency generators.
• Understands preventive maintenance.
• Clear communication and team collaboration.
• Safety-focused and detail-oriented.
• Ability to adapt to changing facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned.
• Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of facility equipment and tools.
• Maintain the physical plant, grounds, and equipment in safe, working order.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Report and respond to maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner.
