Hireology is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to keep our facility safe and comfortable for residents and staff. In this role you will perform routine maintenance, assist with repairs, and support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations, ensuring equipment and the physical plant stay in good working order.

You should have hands-on experience with HVAC, boilers, water systems, and generators, and a safety-focused, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Has hands-on experience with HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, washers and dryers, and emergency generators.
• Understands preventive maintenance principles and safety practices.
• Communicates clearly and works well within a team.
• Maintains a safety-focused, detail-oriented approach.
• Able to adapt to changing facility needs and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned
• Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of facility equipment and tools
• Maintain the physical plant, grounds, and equipment in safe, working order
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations and preventative maintenance
• Ensure a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, staff, and visitors
• Report and respond to maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner
