Job summary

Arclin is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the SASCO (Albany) location to support rubber processing equipment and plant operations. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and peak performance of extruders, mixers, presses, and related equipment.

The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical and electrical knowledge, and a proactive attitude toward preventive maintenance and safety.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge for equipment repair.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate in a team to service equipment and process.
• Perform plant maintenance and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Improve dilution equipment and anti-tack application processes.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on valves, pumps, motors, and chillers.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical and pneumatic circuits.
• Maintain parts inventory in the maintenance area.
• Respond to issues and calls in the plant.
• Suggest improvements for operations and equipment.
