Job summary

Jasper Rubber Products in Jasper, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repair of equipment in rubber mixing and molding operations. You will help ensure equipment reliability, production continuity, and safety through expert troubleshooting.

The role requires reading schematics, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and willingness to work varying shifts; candidates should have 5–7 years in industrial maintenance and PLC experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Industrial maintenance certification preferred.
5–7 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Experience with PLCs.
Fanuc robotics programming experience.
Prior experience with rubber or plastic molding machines.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on mixers, extruders, molding presses, conveyors, and hydraulics.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues quickly and accurately.
Read, interpret, and apply electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
Fabricate and weld as needed; support equipment optimization.
Maintain tools and diagnostic equipment and document maintenance activities.
Coordinate repairs with team members and supervisors.
