Fairgrove Property Management is seeking an Onsite Maintenance Technician in Southern California. This full-time role oversees maintenance for a 424-unit building portfolio and requires hands-on skills with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in property management or related customer service experience, strong computer literacy, and a proactive, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in property management or related field.
• Strong knowledge of computers and cloud-based software and applications.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, assess, repair, and replace HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on the properties or within the units.
• Repair or replace floors, ceilings, walls, siding, doors, door hardware, windows, and window screens.
• Maintain accurate records of daily maintenance and actions.
• Interact with vendors and suppliers professionally.
• Provide exceptional customer service to team and residents.
• Support Fairgrove Property Management's mission and values.
• Communicate in a timely and effective manner.
• Complete emergency and routine service requests.
• Turnover make ready tasks.
• Assist in preparing vacant units for new move-ins.
• Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash as needed.
• Utilize computer, tablet and smartphone software and applications.
• Perform other tasks as requested.
• After hours emergency response as needed.

Job Summary

An Onsite Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping the rental properties in excellent condition, both inside and out. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, highly customer focused, technically skilled, fast moving, and technologically proficient.

• Full-Time Position
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Compensation: $28.00-$30.00/hr
• Responsibilities: Oversee 1 building with a total of 424 units

• Clean driving record with valid driver’s license
• Dependable transportation
• Provide own tools to complete work orders
