Job summary

Aegis Manufacturing & Engineering is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment running efficiently and support facility maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with injection molding experience a plus.

You will diagnose breakdowns, perform preventative maintenance, read schematics, and document repairs.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, prints, and schematics
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment a plus
• Familiarity with safety practices in a production environment
• Injection molding equipment experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment breakdowns and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls, PLCs, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic components.
• Read technical drawings and schematics to identify and resolve issues.
• Handle general building repairs, including basic plumbing and electrical work.
• Document completed repairs and maintenance activities.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.
• Recommend improvements to equipment reliability and support production as needed.
