BR Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold building maintenance and resident service in a property management setting. Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and timely responses to resident requests.

The role requires at least 3 years in maintenance, EPA certification, own basic tools, and a willingness to participate in an on-call rotation. This on-site position emphasizes safety and reliability in a fast-paced housing environment.

Qualifications

• Technical school, Highschool Diploma, or G.E.D. preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years' experience in maintenance or equivalent field.
• Must be EPA certified. Possess your own basic tools to perform building maintenance.
• Valid driver's license preferred. Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check is required.
• Must be willing to work on an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance activities and update records.
• Provide excellent customer service for maintenance requests with timely resolution.
• Complete maintenance work in drywall, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and respond to emergencies and property disasters.

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for scheduling and completion of preventative maintenance activies and assist in updating records of those activities.
• Provide excellent customer service in fixing all customer requests for maintenance support. This includes timely and responsive resolution to issues.
• Complete maintenance service requests involving drywall, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation as scheduled, responds to emergency services requests (after-hour emergency calls) and property disasters (fire, floods, freezes, etc.).
• Complete all maintenance work orders within assigned timeframe and make most apartments ready within five (5) business days of vacancy.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace HVAC equipment (furnances and condensers).
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances (Stove, Refrigerator, etc.).
• Comply with local ordinances, state and federal laws, including Fair Housing laws.
