Job summary

Rite of Passage seeks a Maintenance Worker for Tampa Bay Girls Academy in Tampa, Florida. You will perform general building maintenance, lighting, drywall, painting, plumbing, and grounds upkeep, and maintain the vehicle fleet.

You will also prepare reports and documentation as required. Must have a high school diploma, prior maintenance experience preferred, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Prior building maintenance experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years.
• Ability to pass criminal background clearance, drug screen and TB test.
• Must have strong organization and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and light electrical work.
• Change light bulbs, repair drywall and paint as needed.
• Repair plumbing, adjust locks and hardware; maintain safety systems.
• Maintain the vehicle fleet and complete reports in a timely manner.
