Rite of Passage seeks a Maintenance Worker for Tampa Bay Girls Academy in Tampa, Florida. You will perform general building maintenance, lighting, drywall, painting, plumbing, and grounds upkeep, and maintain the vehicle fleet.
You will also prepare reports and documentation as required. Must have a high school diploma, prior maintenance experience preferred, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Tampa Bay Girls Academy (TBGA) - Secure Facility comprised of multiple co-located residential commitment programs serving high-risk and max-risk females' youth aged 12-21. These programs provide services utilizing evidence-based practices to provide comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling.
Pay: $19 hourly, bi-weekly paid.

As the Maintenance Worker performs work orders such as general building maintenance, changing light bulbs, minor electrical repairs, repairing drywall, painting, sheetrock, adjusting locks and hardware, minor plumbing repairs, unplugging drains, re-lighting, maintaining smoke detectors and emergency lights, grounds maintenance, etc. Maintains the vehicle fleet. Completes required reports and documentation in a timely manner.
Possess a high school diploma. Prior building maintenance experience preferred. Must possess a valid state driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record for the past (3) years. Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen and TB test. Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence. Must have excellent organization and time management skills. Ability to work at least 40 hours per week and designated schedule with the possibility of a varied schedule and overtime.
