Villa at Stamford Premier Rehabilitation & Healthcare in Stamford, CT, is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks to keep facilities safe and comfortable for residents.

The role requires strong customer service, basic painting and carpentry skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision. On-call duties may be required; a valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Demonstrates strong customer service orientation.
• Experience in general maintenance with attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance duties, preventive maintenance, service calls, and emergency maintenance as needed.
• Repair building systems and equipment including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Complete resident room turnovers with minor repairs and touch-up painting.
• Instruct residents on use of thermostats, remotes, bed controls, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety while on duty.
• Respond to work orders promptly with necessary tools and parts.
