Oakmont Management Group seeks a Maintenance Technician/Resident Attendant for Sea Bluffs, Ivy Signature Living in Dana Point, CA. This part-time AM role (Sat-Sun, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) offers competitive pay and benefits supporting a premier senior living community.

The position covers maintenance of the physical plant, interiors, and resident units, requiring basic electrical/plumbing/HVAC knowledge and a focus on resident safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in building maintenance, upkeep, or housekeeping is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel) and communicate effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills and a caring attitude toward residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical, plumbing, and HVAC knowledge to support the community.
• Assist with apartment turnovers including painting and carpet cleaning.
• Maintain grounds, pool, and spa areas as applicable.
• Ensure a safe environment following safety standards for staff and residents.
• Collaborate with coworkers and other departments to promote teamwork.

Position: Maintenance Technician/Resident Attendant
Part-Time AM Shift, 8AM-4:30PM, Saturday-Sunday
Pay Range: $19.00-20.00 an hour depending on experience

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of the physical plant, exterior, and interior common areas, and individual resident units in the Community, in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, and values.

Responsibilities

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Ability to assist with apartment turnovers - painting, carpet cleaning, pressure washing.
• Maintain grounds including pool and spa if applicable.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications

• Prefer six (6) months of experience in the building industry, maintenance, and/or housekeeping handling the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, and structural matters. Knowledge of building construction is helpful.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
