Job summary

Oakmont Management Group seeks a part-time Maintenance Technician/Resident Attendant for Sea Bluffs, Ivy Signature Living. Responsibilities include maintaining the physical plant, interiors, and resident units, with duties in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, and assisting with turnovers.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and providing quality service to residents in a senior living community on a landscaped campus. Candidates should meet education requirements and possess communication skills.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in building maintenance or related field preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Strong desire to work with the elderly.
• Written and verbal communication with staff, residents, families.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening (TB tests).
• Vaccination and PPE requirements per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Assist with apartment turnovers incl. painting, carpet cleaning, and pressure washing.
• Maintain grounds including pool and spa as applicable.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.

Part-Time AM Shift, 8AM-4:30PM, and Saturday-Sunday

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of the physical plant, exterior, and interior common areas, and individual resident units in the Community, in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, and values.

Responsibilities

:

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Ability to assist with apartment turnovers – painting, carpet cleaning, pressure washing.
• Maintain grounds including pool and spa if applicable.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications

:

• Prefer six (6) months of experience in the building industry, maintenance, and/or housekeeping handling the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, and structural matters. Knowledge of building construction is helpful.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
