Job summary

Shawcor is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Tipton, IA to ensure the reliability and safety of plant equipment. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production systems, support asset management, and coordinate with external partners to minimize downtime.

The role requires a journeyman Millwright/Welder with 3+ years in industrial environments, strong mechanical and building systems knowledge, and good communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Millwright/Welder with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of maintenance practices involving mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment used in the production of underground storage tanks and related accessories.
• Support Asset Management by maintaining active assets and improving overall equipment reliability.
• Follow reliability-centered maintenance routines including testing, lubrication, calibration, and tagging.
• Coordinate maintenance with suppliers and external partners as needed.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and participate in safety meetings.
