Job summary
Sika is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to join its Sealy, TX team in the roofing business. You will ensure safe, reliable operation of automated manufacturing equipment and facility systems within a PVC production facility, performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across extrusion lines and related systems.
You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to minimize downtime, improve equipment reliability, and support continuous improvement
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience with PVC extrusion, plastics manufacturing, or related processes preferred.
- Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning programs preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on PVC extrusion lines and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated control systems.
- Diagnose equipment failures using schematics, manuals, PLC diagnostics and maintenance tools.
- Inspect and maintain motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, compressors, and related process equipment.
