Job summary

Sika is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join its Sealy, TX manufacturing team on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift. The role centers on supporting a PLC controlled extrusion coating line, setting up equipment, and maintaining safe, efficient production to meet quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, can read and write English, and is comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and working in hot or cold environments. Sika offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with plastics, vinyl coating, lamination or printing production desirable.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Good verbal communications skills.
• Willingness to operate a touch-screen PLC production line and cover shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support a PLC controlled 120 wide tandem flexible PVC extrusion coating line.
• Set up, operate, break down and clean components; optimize parameters to improve speeds and yields.
• Safely operate forklifts to transport materials to workstations.
• Ensure proper quality review of the product at workstations.
• Follow all company policies, including environmental policy; notify supervisor of concerns.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
