Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician performs skilled work in operating light equipment for street and stormwater maintenance, with potential leadership responsibilities. This is a term-limited position through May 31, 2026, with possible extension.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills

Minimum Requirements

• One year experience operating light equipment.
• One year experience in street/stormwater maintenance.
• Valid Colorado class “R” driver’s license with a good record.
• Knowledge of City geography.

Preferred

• Traffic Control experience and Flaggers Certification within six months.

• Operate and maintain light equipment.
• Understand street and stormwater procedures.

• Navigate city geography effectively.
• Operate snow removal equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and inclement weather.

Essential Functions
