Job summary

Cal-AM Properties Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform a range of tasks to keep communities in top condition. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with occasional weekends or emergencies as needed.

Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $24.00 hourly, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, vacation, sick leave, and 401K. The role requires basic maintenance experience, a valid Driver's license, and the ability to work as part of a team to maintain property

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• General maintenance experience.
• EPA certifiable status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares vacancies to a market-ready condition.
• Performs various maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, etc.).
• Responds to resident service requests promptly.
• Reports maintenance concerns to the supervisor.
• Assists in monitoring maintenance inventory and supplies.
• Delivers required maintenance on grounds and common areas.
• Supports maintenance projects and safety initiatives.
• Maintains professional communication with management.
