Job summary

Cal-Am Properties, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of duties that keep our communities in top condition. You will repair vacancies to market-ready status and support maintenance staff in daily operations to ensure a high-quality living environment.

The role requires the ability to handle on-site repairs, respond to resident requests, and participate in routine preventive maintenance. Monday–Friday schedule with some weekend coverage for emergencies or shift needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of maintenance experience preferred.
• General maintenance skills including plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, etc.

Responsibilities

• Prepares vacancies to market-ready condition and handles maintenance tasks.
• Responds to resident service requests and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Performs various maintenance duties including HVAC, landscape, window coverings, pool care, and more.
• Maintains maintenance logs and assists in inventory control and reporting.
