Job summary

Cal-Am Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a range of on-site maintenance tasks and repairs to keep communities in top condition. This role supports a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekend work as needed to respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities include preparing vacancies for market-ready status, conducting various maintenance tasks, and assisting in inventory and project work. A High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of general maintenance experience.
• Preferred experience in plumbing, electrical, carpeting, painting; EPA certifiable status.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacancies to market-ready condition.
• Perform maintenance tasks as part of a team.
• Respond to resident service requests and concerns.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain maintenance logs and report issues to supervisor.
• Assist in managing supplies and inventory.
• Operate company vehicle as needed.
