Job summary

Noveon Magnetics is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment up and running in our San Marcos, Texas facility. The role emphasizes routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliable operation of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Applicants should have 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read technical documents; certifications or an associate degree are a plus.

Qualifications

• Has a minimum of 5 years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial manufacturing production and material-handling equipment.
• Possesses a strong understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Has a High School diploma or GED required; Associate Technical Degree preferred.
• Can display the ability to read and understand technical documents.
• Has excellent problem-solving skills, understanding of industrial EHS requirements/policies, corrective action efforts/systems improvements, equipment installations, participate in risk/hazard abatement.
• Can recognize and mitigate potential safety hazards.
• Is preferably certified within a specific technical or vocational training.

Responsibilities

• Performing assigned tasks that include, but are not limited to; plumbing, mechanical repairs and assisting in installations, and general repairs including troubleshooting.
• Providing planned, scheduled, unscheduled, preventative, and reactive repairs as required to maximize up time and reliability of production equipment.
• Operating various company vehicles, including forklifts, man lifts, overhead cranes, etc., and obtain proper training.
• Conducting other projects, duties, and assignments as needed and assigned by the Maintenance Manager or management.
