Job summary

UFP Site Built in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, troubleshoot and install equipment and facility systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and support continuous improvement to minimize downtime.

The role requires 1–2 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read schematics and use measuring tools with high accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in maintenance/repair of industrial equipment in manufacturing preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to use hydraulic/pneumatic equipment, presses and small tools safely.
• Ability to read basic schematics and use measuring tools with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues to identify root causes.
• Assist with installation, modification, and relocation of equipment and machinery.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintain maintenance records.
• Adhere to safety policies including LOTO and electrical safety procedures.
