Job summary

Legend Manufacturing Inc is seeking a maintenance technician to support production teams and ensure reliable equipment operation. You will perform preventative maintenance on air compressors, rolling stock, production machinery, and HVAC, troubleshoot issues using schematics, and implement repairs as needed.

You must follow health and safety rules, wear PPE, and coordinate with the purchasing department. The role requires strong attendance, ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, and

Qualifications

• Use various power and hand tools.
• Read and use a tape measure.
• Willingness to cross-train between departments.
• Read and follow work instructions.
• Able to work 40 - 60 hours a week with specified schedule.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Good attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production issues and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Follow health and safety rules and wear PPE.
• Perform maintenance on air compressors, rolling stock, production machinery, and HVAC.
• Troubleshoot machinery using schematics and repair/rebuild tools as needed.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and store tools properly.
• Coordinate with purchasing by communicating needs proactively.
• Adhere to Lock Out/Tag Out procedures when applicable.
• Complete routine maintenance during production when issues arise.
