Job summary

Flaherty & Collins Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Hamilton, OH. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance across property systems, troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues, and respond to resident requests to keep units in top condition.

The role requires a high school diploma; HVAC/EPA credentials are a plus, with hands-on maintenance experience and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC/EPA certifications or similar credentials are a plus, with willingness to learn and grow.
• Hands-on maintenance experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on property systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other systems as needed.
• Address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Conduct property inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them proactively.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to prioritize work orders.
• Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance of the property.
• Maintain organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist with apartment turnovers to ensure units are move-in ready.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues, including after-hours calls.
• Participate in on-call rotation; weekend work as needed.
