Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in manufacturing; food processing experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, pneumatics, hydraulics, and plumbing.
• Proven experience repairing heavy industrial equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Self-motivated with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operations to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance during production downtime to optimize performance.
• Diagnose issues, determine root causes, and implement repairs or part replacements.
• Minimize downtime through proactive maintenance and timely responses.
• Interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders to complete tasks accurately.
• Assist with facility maintenance including carpentry, plumbing, and infrastructure repairs.
• Respond to production line calls and perform emergency repairs during hours.
• Adhere to safety, GMPs, and SOPs; use PPE properly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
