Job summary

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school or two to three years related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of inventory and maintenance software and basic PLC exposure.
• Ability to perform essential duties with reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Observes mechanical devices in operation and identifies causes of trouble.
• Dismantles devices to access defective parts and inspects for wear.
• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
• Adjusts functional parts and control instruments for proper operation.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts and lubricates components per food/beverage quality practices.
• Installs parts and tests performance of devices during startup and trials.
• Monitors budget, prioritizes work with Maintenance Manager, and maintains records.
• Initiates purchase orders for parts and keeps inventory counts up to date.
