Wellstone Regional Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and has been providing quality health care to the residents of Southern Indiana and the Louisville area since 2003. Wellstone specializes in the treatment of Adolescents, Children, and the Adult population. In addition to our in-patient services, we offer out-patient programs as well. Wellstone is currently searching for a PRN (as needed) Maintenance Technician.
Maintenance Technicians perform a variety of tasks, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, light HVAC, test and inspections of physical plant equipment, preventive maintenance and various janitorial duties with minimal supervision.

Education: High school graduate or equivalent; two years of technical or trade school preferred.
Experience: Must have experience in operating a variety of hand/power tools and equipment ensuring proper safety precautions. Experience in the area of building maintenance and basic mechanical engineering.
Licensure: Must have a valid driver’s license.
Additional Requirements: Must have complete knowledge of physical plant within four weeks of hire.
Physical requirements: There are physical requirements to include but not limited to lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds, operate machinery, ability to work under any weather conditions, ability to hear sound with or without correction, ability to read and write, ability to respond to blood and bodily fluid exposure, ability to move continuously, ability to sit, stand, walk, run, climb, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, push, pull and twist.
