Job summary

Mittera seeks a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain printing presses, saddle stitchers, cutters, folders, motors, and related equipment. You will inspect parts, diagnose issues, and perform repairs to minimize downtime in a fast-paced print production environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of maintenance experience, a 1-year technical certificate, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a 1-year certificate from college or technical school.
• 3–5 years of related maintenance experience or training.
• Demonstrated leadership, organization and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to perform basic math and read schematics/blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment in operation to diagnose malfunctions and determine repairs or replacements.
• Dismantle machinery to access defective parts and inspect components for wear.
• Repair or replace defective parts, wiring, switches or relays as qualified.
• Set up and operate metalworking tools to fabricate or modify parts.
• Coordinate with manager and maintenance team for preventive maintenance and parts scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA regulations and company safety rules.
