Job summary

PDM is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect and repair equipment to company standards and maintain preventative maintenance documentation. This role reports to the Maintenance Foreman and supports operations to minimize downtime and ensure safe, reliable equipment.

Requirements include a minimum high school diploma or GED (2-year degree a plus) and at least 3 years in maintenance. Applicants should be mechanically inclined with strong communication and teamwork skills, and be able to work

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED, 2-year degree a plus.
• Mechanically inclined, management and communications skills required.
• 3 years’ experience in maintenance desired.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment operation and safety across trailers, heavy equipment, and hydraulics.
• Follow Preventative Maintenance schedules and document maintenance activities.
• Maintain equipment records and costs for each piece of equipment.
• Communicate inventory of parts to Foreman to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all trailer inspections and repairs comply with DOT requirements.
• Follow OSHA and ANSI regulations and ensure safe work practices.
