Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Issaquah, WA is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep our community safe, clean, and well-functioning for residents, families, and staff. You will perform day-to-day repairs, support preventative maintenance, and help ensure regulatory compliance.

This on-site role offers a pay range of $23.75 to $29.80 per hour, with benefits such as medical, retirement plans, PTO, and education assistance.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders
• Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures)
• Assist with painting and refurbishing projects
• Support HVAC, water, and mechanical system maintenance
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks
• Maintain tools, equipment, and repair inventory
• Support carpet and floor care as needed
• Assist with suite “make-ready” preparation
• Follow OSHA, fire safety, and infection control standards
• Participate in emergency preparedness and fire drills
• Drive community vehicle as assigned
