Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Assistant at Sunrise of Issaquah in Issaquah, WA. You will perform maintenance tasks, basic repairs, painting and refurbishing, and support HVAC and mechanical system upkeep to keep the community safe and welcoming for residents and staff.

This full-time role emphasizes safety, compliance, and preventative maintenance, including safety checks, inventory management, and participation in drills.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders
• Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures)
• Assist with painting and refurbishing projects
• Support HVAC, water, and mechanical system maintenance
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks
• Maintain tools, equipment, and repair inventory
• Support carpet and floor care as needed
• Assist with suite “make-ready” preparation
• Follow OSHA, fire safety, and infection control standards
• Participate in emergency preparedness and fire drills
• Drive community vehicle as assigned
