Job summary

The HEICO Companies, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery, tooling, and facility systems. This role requires mechanical and electrical experience and emphasizes maintaining equipment reliability.

You will use MaintainX to manage work orders, PMs, and records, collaborate with production and engineering, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a climate-controlled aerospace manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair production equipment; pneumatic and mechanical systems preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong verbal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery, tooling, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment issues.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Establish maintenance documentation, equipment records, and maintenance best practices.
• Utilize MaintainX to create, track, and complete work orders, PMs, and maintenance records.
• Assist in building and organizing the maintenance department, including inventory management, and spare parts programs.
• Inspect equipment and facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs and prevent downtime.
• Coordinate and collaborate with production, quality, engineering, and other departments to complete maintenance-related projects and tasks.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair situations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and maintenance procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned.
