Job summary
Insight Global in Kokomo, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure continuous production operations through preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment. This role emphasizes safety and hands-on mechanical work as needed, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.
The position involves troubleshooting PLC, AC drives, HMI, and instrumentation, coordinating with the production team for preventive maintenance, and contributing to TPM activities.
Qualifications
- 3–4 years of related experience or trade skills.
- Ability to perform physical maintenance activities.
- Basic maintenance tool understanding and proper tool use.
- Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical system troubleshooting and repair.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment to ensure continuous operation.
- Troubleshoot automation and instrumentation issues (PLC, AC drives, HMI, devices).
- Coordinate with the production department to review work orders and TPM activities.
- Assist in training maintenance personnel.
- Prepare and maintain maintenance-related documentation.
