Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Sparta, MI to perform installation, maintenance and repair on plant machinery, equipment and facilities. Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints, schematics and diagrams for electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience or training with testing equipment.
• Valid forklift license.
• Valid Crane license.
• Valid Aerial license.
• Valid Lock Out Tag Out license.
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Allen Bradley SLC-500 and Compact Logix and ControlLogix.
• Die Cast Maintenance experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods.
• Visual acuity and depth perception for precise work.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical operations to install, maintain and repair die cast machines and related equipment.
• Diagnose and correct electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues.
• Install, adjust, repair, and replace electrical equipment and PLCs.
• Inspect machines and prepare reports following standard procedures.
• Weld and operate forklift as needed.
• Maintain records and reports.
• Support other maintenance personnel as needed.
• Oversee wastewater management and plant cleanliness.
• Conduct preventative maintenance across plant, office, and grounds.
