Job summary

Reser's Fine Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician MT1 to perform preventative and urgent maintenance on production machinery. You'll prioritize downtime to meet production needs, read blueprints, and troubleshoot PLCs and sensors. The role requires multi-craft knowledge and flexibility for overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical cert/degree preferred.
• 3–5 years as a multi-craft industrial technician.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and PLC familiarity.
• Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance per MT 1 duties and prioritize downtime for production.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams; perform electrical tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment with PLCs and sensors.
• Coordinate with departments; assist with new equipment installations.
• Work with Facilities and Maintenance Manager on special projects.
