Job summary

American Aluminum Extrusion Company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Canton, OH. The role focuses on routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs across electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems within a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot with an ohmmeter, work with PLC-driven automation, and uphold LOTO safety standards. Able to lift up to 50 pounds and communicate effectively in English, you’ll contribute to reliable plant operations,

Qualifications

Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on maintenance experience.
Good command of English, written and spoken.
Experience with electrical systems and troubleshooting using an ohmmeter.
Familiarity with PLCs and automated systems; safety aware (LOTO).

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems.
Conduct inspections and implement preventive measures.
Work with electrical motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and single/three-phase electrical systems.
Troubleshoot with an ohmmeter and maintain PLC-driven automation.
Document maintenance activities per company policies.
