Job summary

Tarkett in Middlefield, OH seeks a Maintenance Technician to support our rubber flooring operations. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and assist in training maintenance personnel and apprentices.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of plant maintenance experience, an associate degree or equivalent, and strong problem-solving and safety mindset; PLC experience is a plus and CAD skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of plant maintenance experience.
• Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues on the shop floor.
• Assist in development and training of maintenance personnel and apprentices.
• Identify and implement projects to improve processes, training and operations.
• Maintain and update drawings when equipment or programming changes are made.
• Ensure safety rules are followed and drive continuous improvement.
