Job summary
A growing food manufacturer near Green Bay, WI is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join its hands-on maintenance team. You will diagnose equipment failures and perform repairs, not just replace parts, with exposure to mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and automated systems.
The role operates on a 2-2-3 schedule and offers opportunities for advancement within a growing team, emphasizing reliability and continuous improvement while adhering to GMP, LOTO, and safety standards.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of food manufacturing maintenance OR 5+ years of other manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Electrical and PLC troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with hydraulics and automated production equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with boilers, HVAC, CIP, wastewater, spiral freezers, flow wrappers, cartoning/packaging equipment, or similar systems is a plus.
- Experience writing/editing SOPs is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment.
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs.
- Troubleshoot PLCs and controls; programming is not required.
- Maintain hydraulic and automated production systems.
- Respond to breakdowns and restore production quickly and safely.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
- Follow food safety, GMP, LOTO, and plant safety procedures.
