Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of mechanical apprenticeship or 5 years combined experience in mechanical maintenance in an industrial environment.
• Ability to install new equipment with supplier technicians.
• Applicant must possess good communication skills.
• Must possess good time management skills.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Basic computer skills and CMMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read technical diagrams and blueprints to diagnose issues.
• Troubleshoot equipment, identify hazards, and perform repairs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to keep production equipment running smoothly.
• Assist with electrical issues when needed.
• Assist with installation of new equipment with supplier technicians.
