Job summary

Madison Communities in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join on-site teams at Madison Shores. This hands-on role keeps apartments safe, functional, and move-in ready, performing painting, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs to uphold our quality standards.

You will deliver outstanding resident service, respond quickly to service requests, coordinate with vendors on landscaping and other projects, and keep tools and work areas safe and organized.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems knowledge.
• Positive attitude, proactive work ethic.
• Team-oriented with solid communication.
• 1+ year of maintenance experience, multifamily preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to residents and teammates.
• Perform day-to-day maintenance including painting, plumbing, electrical fixtures, HVAC, carpentry.
• Respond quickly and professionally to service requests.
• Ensure apartments are safe, functional, and move-in ready.
• Coordinate with vendors on projects like landscaping and asphalt repairs.

What You ll Be Doing

What We re Looking For

• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
• A positive, proactive attitude and strong work ethic
• Team-oriented mindset with solid communication skills
• 1+ year of maintenance experience (multifamily preferred)
• Certifications (HVAC, EPA, CPO) are a plus
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
