Job summary

ZRS Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide skilled maintenance for our resident communities in Arlington, VA. You will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to keep buildings in good repair and deliver exceptional service to residents.

Responsibilities include performing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs; completing turnover work within 3–5 business days; maintaining common areas; monitoring exterior conditions; and supporting

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record & proof of automobile insurance.
• EPA certification preferred. If required at a specific property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of the employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, appliances and related systems as needed.
• Complete turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days and turnover checklist.
• Maintain common areas (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash, pressure washing, windows).
• Monitor exterior for issues with roof, siding, shutters, etc.
• Support an effective preventive maintenance program for the area of responsibility.
• Ensure safe condition of all equipment or structures in area of expertise.
• Enter newly purchased tools or equipment into inventory.
• Keep work area clean and orderly; observe all safety rules.
