Job summary

ZRS Management, LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Arlington, VA property team. You will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to deliver reliable repairs, perform turnover work, and maintain equipment and facilities in top condition.

You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance maintenance, coordinate preventive tasks, and ensure safety standards while providing excellent resident service. On-call availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license with acceptable driving record & proof of automobile insurance.
• EPA certification preferred; if required at a specific property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning, appliances, and other systems.
• Conduct apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days and complete turnover checklist.
• Perform common area maintenance (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash, pressure washing, windows).
• Monitor building exterior for roof, siding, shutters, etc.
• Support preventive maintenance programs for area of responsibility.
• Ensure safe condition of all equipment and structures within scope.
• Enter new tools/equipment into inventory; keep work area clean and orderly.
• Observe all safety rules and procedures.
